Hiking

Hiking is one of the things that sets Vancouver apart from other great cities around the world. There are some truly amazing trails on the North Shore, and some even within Vancouver, such as in Pacific Spirit Park.

The Grouse Grind is the most well-known, but it is overcrowded, challenging and, actually, not particularly nice. Still, you have to do it once, if only to say you have. The Baden-Powel trail is one you don’t want to miss, even if you won’t be able to do it in a day. It is a 48 km long trailer from Deep Cove to Horseshoe Bay. The Lynn Canyon and Deep Cove sections are among the nicest.
