Dinning out for Life is an annual event in support of people living with HIV/AIDS. From Whistler to the Fraser Valley, over 215 restaurants this year will be participating by donating 25% of their sales on March 29th – this Thursday!
Over the past 16 years, over $3 million has been raised through this amazing program, and this year should add more to that total than ever. Help this worthwhile cause by doing the easiest thing possible – go out for diner on March 29th to one of the participating restaurants.
Some recommended restaurants participating:
Café Luxy – best pasta in Vancouver, and great value.
Hamburger Mary’s Dinner – casual, laid back diner with great burgers and milkshakes.
Las Margaritas – Probably the most popular Mexican restaurant in Vancouver.
Salmon n’ Bannock Bistro – Never had Native American food? Here’s your chance.
Stepho’s Souvlaki – Bit greasy, but you get huge portions of amazing tasty Greek food for a bargain
The Wolf & Hound – Casual pub. Great selection of beer, and good, homemade food.
The Boathouse English Bay – If you’re in the mood for seafood, this is the place to be.
Abigail’s Party – A bit pricy, but great atmosphere, good food and amazingly creative cocktails.
